Over time, dust build up can dramatically shorten the life span of rack equipment, servers and components. Using dust filters helps guard against these problems;
dust can act as insulation, preventing heat sinks and processors from optimal heat transfer
dust can clog airways
dust can settle on fan bearings and blades - decreasing fan speed and airflow, and increasing noise
in extreme cases dust can cause a build up of heat resulting in crashes and damage to the PCB boards
If you wish to purchase any of these ProTECHt products please let us know as soon possible after delivery. We can apply the 3 year warranty retrospectively, provided you let us know within 30 days of receiving your rack.

and immediately invalidate any remaining ProTECHt WARRANTY.
1.3 1.3 Any claims of faults or malfunctions arising from, or occurring after, any USER interference, normal wear & tear or USER damage will not be accepted.
1.4 ProTECHt WARRANTY relates only to the rack(s) itself and does

(but not limited to) UPS devices, Power distribution, environmental monitors
etc

are a selection of screwdrivers and a socket set.
1.9 Any replacement parts supplied under the ProTECHt™ WARRANTY will
continue to be covered until the original expiration date and will

1.11 ProTECHt Warranty

1.12 Any contract held by
ACOUSTI and another party and any provision of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of England, and the

2.1 The ProTECHt™ Environmental Temperature & Humidity
Monitor (MONITOR) is to be used as an indicative aid only. It is the responsibility of the USER to ensure correct and safe running of any equipment and that manufacturers’ environmental operating requirements are adhered to.
2.2 It is the responsibility of the USER to check and replace the battery when required and to ensure the MONITOR is installed in a safe and secure manner.
3.1 It is the responsibility of the USER to ensure proper maintenance on the Dust Filters is carried out in a timely manner.
3.2 Dust Filter Maintenance may include washing, vacuuming or replacing the dust filters at regular intervals depending on the rack in question.
3.2 Dust Filters do not entirely prevent dust getting into the cabinet to a small degree. This is unavoidable, however properly maintained Dust Filters will ensure dust does not enter in sufficient quantities to adversely affect the operation of any equipment inside.
